Centennial Elementary School and Florida State University Schools Awarded a Combined $30,000 in Safety Technology through Video Contest
Chicago, IL – Oct. 3, 2019 – Motorola Solutions Inc. (NYSE: MSI) extended its commitment to local communities with today’s recognition of the 2019 Motorola Solutions Education Video Contest winners. The contest invited K-12 public, private or charter schools or school districts based in the U.S. to submit videos honoring favorite school heroes, highlighting outstanding achievements or demonstrating their efforts to ensure positive learning environments.
Centennial Elementary School, in the Chicago suburb of Barlett, Ill., was voted the grand prize winner and received $20,000 worth of radios and accessories from Motorola Solutions’ MOTOTRBO portfolio. The runner up, Florida State University Schools, in Tallahassee, Fla. was awarded $10,000 worth of technology from the portfolio. Motorola Solutions channel partners Illinois Communications and Mobile Communication of America donated time and resources for delivery and implementation of the technology.
